There's another of those perturbed, grumbly noises, but Saxsice closes her eyes and allows her face to be smooshed, because she is the best doggo. Even if she isn't sure if she believes him. She's never even been to New Jersey. She's not even entirely sure it exists. But if so, that seems like a much worse curse than werewolfism. At least she gets to turn majestic and mysterious and fluffy.

Then Kyle mentions kids and her whole body goes still, tail dropping to the stage with a "thunk", ears pinning back. When she opens her eyes, it's with a weirdly human, pained look. Then Saxsice steps back, shaking herself all over and trying to cover for her bizarre reaction by scratching furiously at her ear, turning her back to Kyle.
