[ it's a mixed bag: some have so much that they don't even notice the little bits and baubles that go missing, some can hardly keep track of themselves let alone whatever finery they may have misplaced, and few things she's stolen are worth enough to really matter either way. she wonders if that's more the attitude of the time or simply a side-effect of whatever selective blindness goes on here with the Travelers and the island's inhabitants. she's still trying to figure that out.

selina hooks her thumb beneath the strands of beads and pearls, lifting them up over her head carefully as not to tangle them. she picks through them, selecting a few of the nicer strands of pearls in varying white and cream and pinky hues before offering them to the other woman. she has plenty of pearls, she can afford to spare some. selina smiles, reaching out to offer them to her. ]

Can't promise they'll let you keep them once we leave, but seeing as we'll be here for the next couple of months and the nightlife is pretty wild, it couldn't hurt to enjoy it, right? Get all dressed up and party with the locals? Pearls are classic, they'll compliment any outfit.
