[Not that Markus was ever designed to be a detective or to do all the things Connor could, but he was still an RK, and he was still programmed with earlier versions of some of Connor's software. There was probably a reason that Kamski had gifted him to Carl Manfred other than the older man needing a caretaker android. Any AX400 could have done for that. Markus was placed with Carl because Kamski probably had plans. He might have had similar ideas for Connor, if Cyberlife hadn't interfered and pitted the RK line against itself. Whether or not RK units were meant to be mentored was anyone's guess, but the argument could be made?
