Gideon blows out a large lungful of air. "Yeaaaaaaah," she says elegantly. "Before you even get to the necromancy, there's the whole recycling stuff. Which, I am so glad my corpse is nowhere near the Ninth House." She shudders. It's not like becoming hull plating is much better than farming snow leeks. Or any number of things. Anything short of fighting until nothing remains of it; maybe that would be okay. (And no one, no one, better freeze it in a block of ice).
"Second House's thing uses the deaths, the energy, of their dead enemies to super power their cavaliers," Gideon says, "There's really almost no end to what can happen with them. Revenants can even possess corpses, so like, corpse walking around shooting people with guns. That's a thing." She shrugs. "In some ways it's a lot simpler if no one dies."
