War was simple for Sephiroth. He had a task to complete which required him to feel nothing, and the better he was at it, the more control he was granted over how it was done. A messy business, physically; he was always washing blood out of his hair. But he knew his enemies, and his allies. He could respect them both.
"I don't have experience with duels," Sephiroth says with a shake of his head. "And my only responsibility to those I killed was to permit their recovery from the battlefield." He pauses. "I suppose it does become more complicated in a world with necromancy."
