Chloe may not always be able to understand the specifics of a situation, but that doesn't mean she can't offer well-meaning advice. Whatever it is that's bothering him, she can understand the fear of being hurt.

"Taking a risk like that can be scary," she agrees with conviction. "It's a tough decision. Which would be worse? Trying, and ending up hurt? Or not trying at all, and regretting it?"

She's got nothing but sympathy for someone in that position. She's been in it, herself.
