It’s funny, really. One would think that the mere mortals - and mortal-adjacent - would be the ones with the most to fear. Wrath, consequence, that sort of thing. Especially in a place as uncertain as this. But how frightening it could be to have untold power and still find the world may not work exactly according to your design. Or to find yourself forgotten, without followers or believers.
