The actual image itself had been rather amusing too, and David had understood that frustration. Understood it enough to remember it in a positive way.

"It was tightly angled in there. I'm honestly surprised he managed to get it out. Or that he can walk around with that beast of a thing. It's really impressive. Whether he admits it or not, I think he's got some sort of power, to be able to do that."

With Hawks walking, David starts too. It's better to get out of here sooner, right?

"We went into New York City to visit someone important to a friend of mine not long after I started attending a school for mutants like me. Except we didn't know they had been basically been kidnapped as bait to get at my friend and make a public display of hate against us. My friend Laurie almost didn't make it out of that. And the whole of that fight took place in a parking garage."
