Even if he couldn't feel the warmth that inspires in Kyle's mind, the look on his face makes it unmissable. As much as he knows about the mind, there's a rush in making someone else feel good about themselves that Quentin often overlooks and Kyle stands to make him think more about.

He takes Kyle's face between his hands for a kiss. "I'm glad you think so. I like being connected to you."

"Anyone who doesn't like talking to you clearly isn't listening," he says decisively. How could anyone not enjoy the crazy shit that Kyle says off the cuff? His hands linger there at Kyle's temples a little while, stroking the soft fuzz of his newly clipped fade. "I'd like to think I'd notice if Kyle wasn't ok," he says. "But like. Ok.
