"Huh. Really? Can't hurt to check! I'll live with rips if I gotta, but if someone can make it look nicer, I'm entirely down." He means every word, too. As far as he's concerned, they can be shopping buddies! They did get a pretty generous allowance to spend here. He's sure there's some reason, but he can't figure it out. He hadn't figured out what the deal was with the last place, either. But who is he to turn down free money to get some clothes that he actually likes?

"Well, let's hope there's nothing that's gonna make us suddenly kids or something like on the last one, huh?" He hadn't experienced that himself, but he'd heard about it. He's not even that old! He remembers being a kid very well, thanks, and he doesn't want to experience it.

"I've been through a few of these, though. At least this one probably doesn't have giant bug creatures kidnapping people. Probably." His tone is entirely joking; it's a coping mechanism.
