Hawks isn't really put off by the mall at all, but he's wary of it. The carnival wasn't as horrifying as he'd been imagining, but he figures it's just a matter of time before some terrible other foot drops here. This mall looks outdated as hell to him, but whatever. Maybe there's stuff to eat that's a little better than carnival food? Hawks likes junk food, but come on.

He hears Roxy yell with excitement not far away and turns to see what that's about.

"You're really into the shopping thing, huh?" he asks. He's teasing, but gentle. He's not going to begrudge someone enjoyment.
