Hawks chuckles a little at the question. "Yeah, she thought I was whatever she was, though I think she figured out I wasn't from our conversations. She was fascinating, though. Wish she'd stuck around." He has no idea what happens to people who disappear. He chooses to believe they go home, since any alternative seems sad or awful.
