Connor takes no notice of her state of attention, whether she's really listening or just being polite. He doesn't care, either. She hasn't told him to shut up, so he doesn't until he's finished. He's expected a few questions, but hearing about Ella is good too.

"I always wonder how people in other worlds got by without androids. I wonder how people in my world will get by without them. Since we're free now and all. I'd like to meet Ella- I'd like to discuss methods. Not that I expect her to approve of mine!"

More babbling on, but thankfully he's absolutely willing to stop to listen to what Chloe has to say, too. His eyes go wide and his smile is bright.

"You are? Really? We're in the exact. Same. Profession!" His enthusiasm is boundless, now that he's been shaken out of his mellow lethargy. "Sort of! I didn't solve any murders, because I was instructed to hunt down deviants rather than solve human crimes. But if I ever get back to Detroit I really do hope that I will be allowed to continue working for the DPD and they'll allow me to be a detective like I was programmed to be. I really want to help people and androids now. How long have you been a detective? Why do you think we're here?"
