( Chloe watches as he works, keeping enough distance so she isn't directly hovering over him in an uncomfortable way. It's as interesting to her to be the one doing the observing as it is to have been the one who did the painting.

As he comes to a close, she gives him a moment to reorient himself, should it be needed. The obvious question of what is it is replaced by a different one. )
