Normally, Chloe would not necessarily be blessed with the patience to listen to the entire recitation that Connor subjects her to. But she is very high, and very mellow, and has nowhere to be for the time being, so she just lets it all wash over her.

"You remind me of my friend Ella," she says whenever he finally manages to pause (for breath or otherwise). "She's not an android, either - we don't have androids in my world. But she's a forensic analyst. She doesn't put evidence in her mouth, but she does test it. She's the best at her job, and just the nicest person you'll ever meet." She misses Ella, too.

But right! Connor wasn't asking about Ella, he was asking about her!

"I'm a homicide detective," she finally adds. "So we're kind of in the same profession, huh. I solve murders. I love my job." So... why is she quitting again? Oh, right. Because she loves Lucifer more.
