Surely, given the foggy bits of memory she has from her time stuck down the back of Harrow's head, it's not immature to relax. Lyctors (and God, but she's not thinking about God) get up to weird shit. A beer (that's new) and thin whisps of sugary carbohydrates (also new) are just what the quartermaster orders. It comes in two light colors, which already makes it better than any Ninth equivalent. That would have only come in black (and bone color if they could be pressed into making a second). Gideon mentally flips a coin and picks the one on the right. It's blue. Cool.
It's a casual night. Not much to worry about. Gideon wonders, briefly, if she's irritated Harrow into needing some alone time after prolonged exposure to her younger shittier self. Everyone is a shitty teen. And shitty pre-teen is raw unaged shitty teenager.
Time, two beers, and a whole ass cloud of sugar sees her to Pete and Pete's craft. People get all kinds of pictures inked onto their skin. Some words too. Gideon wonders where Harrow is. If they were there together, they could both get "One Flesh, One End." Gideon plans to add "bitch" after hers. Just like she did in the pool. But, no Harrow, and Gideon's got more identity than Harrow (sometimes it's a close thing). She sits down, looks Pete dead in the eyes. "Two things. First, I want a skull, not a full skull, none of that bottom jaw bottom row of teeth stuff, just the top part, and it's wearing sunglasses," Gideon taps her sunglasses as reference. The tattoo shop is lit up bright as can be. "Second, broadsword, plain black iron, simple crossguard and pommel, down the length of the inside of my arm. Thanks."
