He chuckles a little. "No apologies needed. I don't think I ever been described as upbeat on my best day." There's something to be said for finding someone who can appreciate a little peace and quiet too.

"Chloe," he nods like he's committing it to memory. "Pleasure. I'm Logan."

He's not apt to show too many signs of tiring either, but her concern strikes him as genuine and sincere all the same. "Might well take you up on that some time," he warns.

"Technically?" he wonders in what way it wouldn't be technical and offers a little shrug in contrast to her apologies. "So far as I can tell about this place, I got nothing but time, darlin'. Shoot. What's your long story?"
