Gideon shrugs. "End of the day I fight for people," she says, "so the choice is easy even if the fight isn't." That's something she can sleep easy about. She knows there's a whole ass dumb war (it's hard for it not to seem dumb when one of her parents leads/led each side). People are people, everywhere.
