[Well, he's glad she finds that amusing... Rather bold of the hamster. Sephiroth glances at his hand, but the hamster didn't manage to break skin, and he drops it to his side.]

I assumed it was for companionship.

Or pest control. [A glance at the hamster that bit him. He's never owned a cat either, but at least he can see the benefits.]
